Charlotte, N.C. - Johnson & Wales Charlotte head baseball coach
Steve Hucke is thrilled to announce the signing of Zac Parenteau as the eighth member of the 2026 recruiting class.
Parenteau is an outfielder that played his senior season at Cuthbertson High School after spending his first three years at Pro Stock Royals Academy. He helped lead the Cavaliers to twenty-one wins in 2026, including an appearance in the second round of the NCHSAA 7A state playoffs. He hit .294 as a junior at PSRA, scoring 13 runs while driving in 8 more over 22 games. Parenteau plays club baseball for Carolina Baseball Club.
He is the son of Heather and Dan Parenteau and plans to major in Business Administration at Johnson & Wales.Â
Coach Hucke feels Parentau has just the kind of drive and determination he sees in successful players. "Zac is the type of player that we look for here! He grinds out at bats, plays good defense and will work hard everyday!"
