East Rowan's Noah Dillon Inks With JWU Men's Soccer

Charlotte, N.C. - Noah Dillon has signed with Johnson & Wales Charlotte men's soccer, becoming the eighth member of the Wildcats' 2026 recruiting class.

Dillon is a recent graduate of East Rowan High School and played on the Mustangs' varsity soccer team each of his four years. He led East Rowan with 18 goals and 6 assists during the 2025 season. He was chosen as the team's Most Valuable Player and Offensive Player of the Year. Dillon also garnered South Piedmont Conference All-Conference, Charlotte Metro All-Region, and All Rowan County honors. He plays club soccer for Charlotte Independence.

Dillon is the son of Amber and Steven Drake and plans to major in Business Management at Johnson & Wales. When asked why he decided to become a Wildcat, he replied, "I chose JWU so I could continue my athletic career along with getting a strong education."

Coach Bogba loves what Dillon will bring to the team both on the field and off. "Noah is a phenomenal addition to our incoming class, both as an elite defensive talent and an exemplary leader. As a captain for his high school and club squads, he already knows what it takes to carry the responsibility of a program and steer a locker room in the right direction. On the field, he is an exceptional, modern center-back who is comfortable building possession out of the back and relentless in the tackle. We are excited to get him into our training environment and watch him grow into a pillar of this program."
