Men's Soccer Adds Regional Star Eli Adams

Charlotte, N.C. - Eli Adams of Catawba, N.C. has signed with Johnson & Wales Charlotte men's soccer, becoming the third member of the 2026 recruiting class.

Adams is a recent graduate of Bandys High School. He was twice named All-Conference and also earned All-Region honors as a midfielder and forward for the Trojans. Adams plays club soccer for Charlotte Soccer Academy.

He is the son of Shanon and Jarrod Adams and plans to major in Business Administration at Johnson & Wales. When asked why he decided to become a Wildcat, he replied, 'JWU has a good business school." Adams is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of BHS.

Johnson & Wales Charlotte men's soccer head coach Teddy Bogba thinks Adams can be one of the bedrock members of the Wildcats during his four years at JWU. "We are incredibly excited to add Eli to our incoming class. When you are building a program, you look for players who possess not just technical ability, but exceptional character and leadership. As a high school captain, Eli has already proven he knows how to lead a group, demand accountability, and set a standard of excellence. He is exactly the type of culture-setter we want in our locker room."
