Charlotte, N.C. - Johnson & Wales Charlotte had four soccer players named 2025 Coast-To-Coast All Conference as announced on Tuesday.
The Wildcat women saw two of their players honored. Senior midfielder
Emily Spies was joined on the Second Team by sophomore defender
Isabelle Gonzalez. Spies enjoyed another solid season appearing in 17 matches, making 16 starts. She scored a goal, and had three assists while playing a solid defensive midfield for JWU. Gonzalez also appeared in all 17 matches with 16 starts. She also scored a goal and assisted on two others while leading a defensive back line that allowed just 1.25 goals per game.
Niklas Seguin was the first Wildcat to earn 1st team All-C2C honors. The junior forward from Mooresville, N.C. led the Wildcats in scoring with 10 goals and 12 total points. He had two multi-goal games in wins over Virginia State and Warren Wilson. Senior
Carter Bonini was named to the All Coast-ToCoast Second Team. The Hickory, N.C. native scored in the regular season finale against Regent. He did most of his work on the defensive side of the ball during the season, making 13 starts among his 18 appearances. He was a steadying force on the back four for a JWU side that allowed 1.0 goals per contest and never conceded more than two goals in any one game.
