Transfer Michael Quick Opens JWU Men's Soccer 2026 Recruiting Class

Charlotte, N.C. - Johnson & Wales Charlotte men's soccer head coach Teddy Bogba is pleased to announce Michael Quick as the first signing of the Wildcats' 2026 recruiting class.

Quick spent the previous two years at Cape Fear Community College where he played as a defender for the Sea Devils. He appeared in 20 matches, making one start. Quick was a member of back-to-back SCISA 3A state champions during his high school career at Pinewood Prepratory School in Summerville, SC. He scored 5 goals as a junior in 2023.

Quick is the son of Kelly and Michael Quick and plans to major in Business Administration at Johnson & Wales. He was twice selected to the National Junior College Athletic Administrations's All-Academic Team while playing at CFCC.

Coach Bogba loves what Quick brings to the program. "We are thrilled to welcome Michael to the program. Bringing in a player with his level of collegiate experience from a competitive program like Cape Fear Community College is a massive plus for us. Michael is a versatile, high-character athlete who has proven he can get the job done both on the pitch and in the classroom. He fits our culture perfectly, and we expect him to make an immediate impact."
