Durham, Nc- The Wildcats (1-4) (Ranked 13th in the USCAA D-II Coaches Poll) traveled this evening to take on the Eagles of North Carolina Central University. Unfortunately, JWU was unable to win the game, ending the game with a score of 46-109.

After falling behind 10-0 in the game's first two minutes, the Wildcats were able to close the gap to four at 10-6 before allowing the Eagles to go on a 21-2 run that blew the game open. The Wildcats, playing without three starters, would be unable to recover as they were plagued by 33 turnovers in the game.

The Wildcats were led by Jay Keller and Kindrick Anderson with 13 and 10 points, respectively. Mario Irby contributed 9 points and 11 rebounds for JWU.   

JWU will host Emmanuel College on Wednesday, November 14^th. Tip-off is set for 7:30pm in the Student Center Gymnasium.
