Radford, VA -- After having a few days to celebrate winning the JWU Cup, the Johnson & Wales Men's Basketball Team visited NCAA Division I school and Big South member Radford University.  This is the third Big South team and fourth NCAA Division I team the Wildcats have faced this season.  Although they lost the game 92-54, the Wildcats continued to develop their skills to prepare to face USCAA opponents in their upcoming games.  These match-ups with NCAA Division I teams strengthen the Wildcats' schedule and give them valuable experience for future games.

The Wildcats were led tonight by Assistant Coach Garry Frazier as Coach Casciano was too ill to make the trip.  JWU Cup Most Outstanding Player and current USCAA Division II Player of the Week Rickey Porter had 17 points for JWU.  JWU Cup All-Tournament Player Tramain Parker had 12 points and 8 rebounds for the Wildcats.  JWU is now 6-8 on the season.  They will travel to Greensboro College for their last game of 2014 on Thursday.  Game time is 7:30 PM.
