Elizabeth City, NC - Rickey Porter scored 25 points as the Johnson & Wales men's basketball team dominated Mid-Atlantic Christian University, claiming a 97-53 victory on the road Saturday.

Porter was one of five players in double figures for the Wildcats (9-10), who have now won four of their last five contests.

Rodney Kirby scored 14 points on the night while Caleb Mercer and Joshua Cohen each scored 12.  Shontrell Hopper chipped in with 10 points for Johnson & Wales.

The Wildcats were in control throughout, posting a comfortable 52-21 lead at halftime.

Johnson & Wales will resume play on Monday when they travel to Florence, SC, to play NCAA Division II program Francis Marion.  Tip-off is at 7:00 p.m.
