Box Score Charlotte, NC - The USCAA #6 Johnson & Wales men's basketball team claimed their third straight win with a 93-75 victory over College of Faith on Thursday at the Wildcat Center.
Five different players reached double figures for the Wildcats (13-12), led by Rickey Porter's 21-point effort.
Johnson & Wales shot a blistering 57% in the first half to open up a 44-28 halftime lead, with Porter scoring 15 points of his points in that time frame.
Joshua Cohen scored 17 points for the hosts while Michael Cuthbertson added 16 points - including a thunderous dunk off an alley-oop late in the second half.
Brandon Cole and Sherer Desinor each added 14 points for Johnson & Wales.
The Wildcats continually frustrated their turnover prone opponents, forcing College of Faith into 29 turnovers on the night.
The Johnson & Wales bench came up big as well, outscoring College of Faith's reserves 37-7.
The Wildcats will resume play on Monday when they travel to Winston-Salem, NC, to play Piedmont International University. Tip-off is at 7:00 p.m.
