Charlotte, NC - The Johnson & Wales men's basketball team led by as many as 31 points as they coasted to a 101-82 victory over College of Faith on Friday at the Wildcat Center.

Senior forward Rickey Porter led all scorers with 21 points for the Wildcats (9-18), who connected on nearly 48 percent of their shots and finished an impressive 19-of-21 from the free throw line in the win.

Junior guard Alcyone Moore added 21 points while freshman guard Chris Greer continued his recent hot streak with 18 points.

Senior Jayvoine Parker also had a strong game, recording his first career double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Darius Truesdale led College of Faith with 20 points.

The Wildcats will resume play on Monday when they host Vorhees College.  Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
