Box Score Charlotte, NC - Johnson & Wales Charlotte put four players in double figures as they defeated Maine-Fort Kent 98-69 on Wednesday night.
The Wildcats used a 16-2 run in the middle of the first half to turn a 12-12 tie into a 28-14 lead that they would never look back from. JWU extended the lead to 18 at the break, and pushed it to as many as 33 in the second half. The Bengals were forced into 23 turnovers and saw the Wildcats outrebound them by 12. JWU shot nearly 55% from the field.
Anthoney Ray came off the bench to score 23 points. Zyrion Wilkins scored 16 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, handed out 3 assists, and collected 4 steals. Nathan Meshida had 14 points and 7 rebounds, while Jaylen Benson-Hollinhead had 13 points and 9 rebounds.
