Charlotte, NC - Johnson & Wales Charlotte men's soccer head coach is excited to announce the signing of Jacobo Arias as the fifth member of the 2023 recruiting class.
Arias is a native of Orlando, FL and played midfielder at Lake Nona High School, where he served as team captain for the Lions. Arias also played club soccer for Orlando Stars Academy for ten years before moving to Florida Kraze Krush to participate at the ECNL level.
He is the son of Maria Arias and Alberto Santos and intends to major in Business Administration at Johnson & Wales. Arias had a great feeling about Johnson and Wales, and that was a key reason why he decided to become a Wildcat. "The opportunities for my future were very good and the vibes the coach and the players gave me were very welcoming."
Coach Kroft got great feedback from coaches that were familiar with Arias, and saw for himself the different ways that Jacobo could contribute. "Throughout his recruiting process, we've continued to see Jacobo make an impact on the field no matter the situation or environment. He comes highly recommended by established coaches in the Orlando community, and we're excited for what he'll bring to our program."
