Local Standout Holden Parks Opens Baseball's 2026 Recruiting Class

Charlotte, N.C. - Johnson & Wales Charlotte head baseball coach Steve Hucke is excited to announce the signing of Holden Parks as the first member of the Wildcats' 2026 recruiting class.

Parks is a senior at Corvian Community School that plays both the infield and outfield. He has helped lead the Cardinals to an 18-9 record so far in 2026, setting a new school record for wins in a season. Corvian is making an appearance in the NCHSAA 2A state playoff quarterfinals on May 15th. He is hitting .358 on the season and ranks 2nd on the team in doubles (6) and third in runs scored (22). His OPS of 1.057 is also second best on the team. He was named a Perfect Game Preseason All-American in 2026, and was also part of the Prep Baseball Report's Junior Underclassman Watchlist. He is a five time member of regional All-Tournament teams. Parks plays club baseball for Regulators Baseball Club.

He is the son of Sandy and Neil Parks, and plans to major in Business Administration at Johnson & Wales. He has a 4.2 grade point average in high school, and is a member of the CCHS honor roll and the National Honor Society.

Coach Hucke is happy for what Parks will add to the team. "Holden brings many things to our program here at JWU-Charlotte.  He plays multiple positions, is a consistent hitter at the plate, is a competitor and will be a leader on and off the field!"
